ADKINS ENDORSED BY KANSAS LIVESTOCK ASSOCIATION

The Kansas Livestock Association announced their endorsement of Amanda Adkins for Congress on Thursday morning.

“I’m honored to have the backing of the Kansas Livestock Association and the ranchers it represents,” Adkins stated. “At a time when rising prices are devastating families, businesses, and the livestock industry in Kansas, I’m dedicated to cutting unnecessary spending and fighting the overregulation coming from Washington. I look forward to giving ranchers and feeders a seat at the table as their Congresswoman.”

“With the addition of Anderson, Franklin, and the entirety of Miami County to the Third District, it is crucial that everyone in KS-03 has a representative who understands their way of life and the harm that more government regulation and inflation inflicts,” said Adkins. “I will keep decision-making in the hands of ranchers, unlike Sharice Davids who has continuously put Washington bureaucrats ahead of Kansans.”

Matt Teagarden, CEO of the Kansas Livestock Association, stated that “KLA believes that Amanda Adkins is the right choice for the 3rd Congressional District. She has committed to help agriculture thrive by getting government out of the way. That includes working to get rid of unnecessary laws and regulations that interfere with livestock producers’ ability to market their product as they see fit and supporting legislation to reduce regulations that inhibit livestock producers from safely and efficiently getting their products to market.”

Representing more than 5,600 Kansas livestock producers, the Kansas Livestock Association is one of the largest agricultural groups in the state. For more information about the KLA, visit https://www.kla.org/about-kla.
